Aren’t these the loveliest, most lusciously red strawberries?
Ingredients: strawberries (preferably with stems as it makes it easier to dip), chocolate
Step 1: Wash the strawberries carefully. Dry the strawberries. Lay a sheet of wax paper over a tray (to place the strawberries).
Step 2: Melt the chocolate in a double boiler. I placed a porcelain bowl (or use a metal or glass bowl) over a pot of boiling water. Stir until the chocolate is melted. Use oven mitts to transfer the now hot bowl onto a towel.
Step 3: Gently dip and swirl the strawberry until coated with chocolate. Tap to remove excess chocolate. Lay the strawberries on the wax paper.
Step 4: Refrigerate the strawberries until the chocolate hardens. Once the chocolate hardens, the strawberries are ready to eat!!
