Spain Club – Tapas in Itaewon

Spain Club is an expensive Spanish tapas restaurant chain with several restaurants in Seoul and Busan.  They offer tapas, platos, paellas, and desserts.  The tapas (and plato) were delicious, the atmosphere was classy, and the servers were attentive.  The only downsides were the inflated prices for what are essentially small plates of bar food.  Save this place for a special occasion.  I would gladly go again–as long as someone else is picking up (or sharing) the tab.

Gambas al ajillo (shrimp in a spicy, garlicky olive oil)

Estofado de panceta (Spanish pork belly, white bean, tomato stew)

Jamon iberico bellota de jabugo

Croquetas con jamon iberico

Turkish baklava (Turkish dessert and tea shop nearby)
