Linus’ Bama Style Barbecue, started by Alabama native Linus Kim after years of pop-ups, specializes in slow-smoked BBQ with house-made sauces and Southern sides such as baked beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, and coleslaw. Linus’ is a popular hot spot in Itaewon and does not take reservations, so be prepared for long wait times. Though I am not a huge fan of BBQ, the food is good and the restaurant has a nice ambiance. I particularly liked the mashed potatoes and gravy and deep friend mac and cheese balls with bits of bacon and jalapeno.
